Our Story

Houligan’s Steak & Seafood Pub was born in 2002 when our executive chef Guy Logan and general manager Jon Seybold decided to put their 40 years of private country club experience behind them and mortgaged their homes to open our establishment. They survived their first few years in business with only luck and experience on their side, but the dedication paid off, as we are now one of the most popular fine dining restaurants in Eau Claire.

As with any new business venture, hands-on experience is an essential ingredient to success, as proven by our decades of serving delicious food to our guests. Our combination of quality food and great atmosphere makes for an excellent dining experience here at Houligan’s. Our inviting and comfortable pub setting will make you feel at ease, and our trained staff is attentive and knowledgeable about our full-course menu.

We are best known for our premium cut steaks and fresh seafood made with locally sourced ingredients. Our menu also includes soups and salads, pasta, chicken, desserts, cocktails, craft beers, and wine. We provide catering services and have a banquet facility available to host wedding rehearsals and other events.
